Sighting

Today I took my son to a superhero-themed birthday party:

You'd be surprised how long it took us to put that together.

It could have taken forever - but his smile says it was all worth it! Now, where's his twin? LOL

Well, we do have some extra fabric, but unfortunately his sibling is a little brother. So we're not sure what we're going to do about him.

Thanks. I'm now thinking that a Sun Boy costume might have suited him even better, but I do like these results.

Thanks. I especially like the way the belt came out--not quite authentic to the animated Legion, but better than one that was would have looked.

Awww... So cute!

From my experience of conventations - thats not bad at all and trust me I've seen some aweful costumes.

Thanks. I thought so too. There actually was one other really good costume at the party: one of the relatives came as Lucius Fox, with his hair frosted and everything. It was cool.

If you're looking to sell that in a few years, just let me know!

Awesome!

Ideally we'll be using it for a few years, but I'll keep it in mind.

Hmmm...Rokk & Pol Krinn?

I thought of that, but neither one has the colouring, and anyway we've already got the Lightning Lad costume. His brother is probably going to go as Tigger.

Well, Ayla was cross-dressing the first time we saw her...

Nothing's really grabbed me so far. It's too late to do anything about it this year, and next year he may be old enough to have his own opinions about what he wants to go as. So we'll see.
